About the event

Topic: Where do Trails Come From?

The mission of Trails Inspire is to promote the outdoors through trail design, freelance writing, photography and public speaking. Sirena Rana’s recent trails project at the Texas Canyon Nature Preserve offers visitors a chance to explore the unique terrain filled with stone pillars, balanced rocks, slabs and spires. Join this conversation with Sirena as we learn how she has turned her thru-hiking background into a career designing trails, and as she gives us a glimpse into what it takes to design and build a new trail system.

In addition:

  • Have a chance to win gear giveaways from Sawyer Products.
  • Donate money during registration to support the Grand Canyon Trust.
  • Have a conversation with other intentional hikers about the topic *read more about the conversation code below.

For this event 1/3 of donations will be given to Sirena, and 1/3 to the Grand Canyon Trust. *Donations will appear as a second "ticket" in your order **Donations are not tax deductible unless made directly to a registered non-profit organization.
