  • Postponed: December 20: Matt "Sheriff Woody" Berger - Botany on the Trail - The Joy of Plant Identification

  • A new date and time will be announced soon!

    • Matt is a botanist and describes himself as a biodiversity fanatic. He is also a triple crown hiker with over 12,700 miles hiked. Last year he explored just about every state west of the Mississippi and much of the Southeast in search of botanical treasures. I’m excited to discuss plants, learning how to identify botanical treasures on trail, and making the time while hiking to collect observations.

  • January 10: American Hiking Society & Partnership for the National Trails System- Your Voice Matters - How to Advocate for Trails

    • Tyler Ray, Senior Director for Programs and Advocacy for American Hiking Society, Courtney Lyons-Garcia, Executive Director at Partnership for the National Trails System and, Cristobal Slobodzian, Development Manager at Partnership for the National Trails System will be discussing trails advocacy and how to make your voice heard, which is a very timely event as both organizations are ramping up to the 27th year of Hike the Hill next February in Washington DC.
